FirePilot

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 8, 2026

FirePilot helps you track your money and get personal financial guidance. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

What we collect

AI

FirePilot's advisor runs on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence. Your financial summary, questions and documents are processed on your device; FirePilot doesn't send them to any third-party AI service. AI guidance is educational and isn't professional financial, tax or legal advice.

How we use it

Only to run the app: to show your net worth, spending, budgets and plans, to keep your data in sync, to fix problems you report, and to improve FirePilot. Subscriptions are processed by Apple; we never receive your payment details.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored on our servers hosted by Vercel and Neon in the United States, encrypted in transit. Bank access tokens and Apple sign-in tokens are encrypted at rest. A copy of recent screens is cached on your iPhone so the app works offline.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data or share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run FirePilot, under contracts that limit their use to providing their service:

We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your rights and choices

Children

FirePilot isn't directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
